I’m excited to share with you the first project on my new website!
I found a small chalkboard easel in the Bullseye’s Playground section at Target for a few dollars. I thought it would be perfect for me to write my To Do List and Order List for my business. I live off of to do lists! I would be lost without them.
Instead of writting ‘To Do’ at the top of the chalkboard, I thought it would be more fun to make a vinyl decal to put on each side. One that says ‘TO DO LIST’ and the other that says ‘ORDERS LIST’.
To put the decal on the chalkboard I used a ruler to help keep everything straight.
First, I laid the vinyl decal on top of the chalkboard to measure where I wanted to put it, making sure it was centered.
I peeled the decal off with the transfer tape (the sticky layer with red lines). I lightly put the decal and transfer tape at the top of the chalkboard easel.
After I made sure the decal was in the correct spot, I used a flat piece of plastic (a credit card works great) to secure the decal on the chalkboard.
Once I had the transfer tape and vinyl decal secure, I peeled off the transfer tape revealing the decal on the chalkboard easel.
I did the same to the other side of the chalkboard for a ‘To Do List’ side. I am excited how it turned out and I’ve been using it a ton for my business.
If you would like to order small vinyl decal like this, take a look at our custom vinyl decal. The price will depend on the size, but something small like this would be pretty inexpensive. And we can create any kind of decal you’d like! It adds great value to something so simple!
